Rewatching BSG? You are stronger than I'll ever be... It sure was good through season 2. It sure was bad at the end... That said, you're probably the only person in the world that was told that she reminds people of Starbuck as much as I was.
I'll wager that it was good through Season 3, as well. The episode where Starbuck "dies" as well as the episode where the Four are revealed (along with Starbuck returning), are two of my favorites of the series. That being said, we're into Season 4.5 with all the big character changes (Gaius as Sexy Jesus, Apollo on the Quorum, etc.) Watching it all back-to-back really shows how fast it went off the rails. The crappy ending is worth reliving because there are SO many good moments leading up to it. Plus, Vee had never seen it and that just had to be rectified.
Fair enough, but Jesus Baltar was just too much for me. You should have seen poor Yoyo — he loved Baltar so much, and always referred to him as the only scientist on tv to ever get laid. And then they made him a religious figure? UGH! And then all of them basically being angels? Le sigh.
